Evan Gillespie wrote his first novel 20 years ago while working alone in his basement office. When, during the pandemic of 2020, he found himself alone in another basement office, this one with bright blue-painted walls, he had the idea of creating a community of storytellers who wouldn't have to work alone. It took him a bit, but he founded Blue Room Works in 2026 to leverage his 30 years' experience as a writer and editor and finally make that community a real thing.
